What happens to a photo.
Upload Live
Your phone or browser asks for a short-lived upload grant, sends the file straight to private storage in parts, and reports a checksum for each part. The upload only counts once every checksum matches.
Access Live
Every listing, preview and download is authorised on the server against your account and the albums you have been invited to. Someone guessing a file ID gets nothing.
Storage Live
Files sit in a private bucket with public access blocked, encrypted at rest by the storage provider and in transit over HTTPS. Preview links are signed per file and expire in seconds.
Staff access Live
Our operations console shows orders, inventory and job status. It has no way to browse customer media, and its data model cannot carry file links.
Account recovery Live
Lost your password? A single-use reset link goes to your email. Sessions can be reviewed and revoked from your account page, device by device.
Family permissions Live
Sharing is per album and per person. A family owner pays the bill and can invite or remove people; they cannot see anyone else's private vault.
Only Me vault In review
A separate area with its own unlock. Files are protected on your device before upload, so an email-and-password login alone cannot open them; recovery needs your recovery phrase or another trusted device. The design, key handling and recovery flow are with an independent reviewer. It is not offered until that review is complete.
Search scope Live
Search covers your files and the shared albums you belong to. Nothing else, ever.
MemriBank is not a bank or an insured financial service. We do not claim regulatory status, certification, or that nothing can ever be lost. Keep a second copy of anything irreplaceable.
Account recovery vs Only Me
Two different
locks.
Your account Live
Protects everything in My Vault and the Family Room. Recoverable by email. Sign out of a lost phone from any other device.
Only Me In review
Protects a separate set of files with keys that live on your devices. Recoverable only with your recovery phrase or another enrolled device. If both are gone, the files are gone. That is the point, and the reason it ships only after review.
